COBRE

We have 2 projects in Brazil

Copper is an essential and resistant raw material, widely used in the conduction of heat and electricity. Its versatility covers sectors such as hydraulic equipment, gas installations, fire-fighting systems and electrical connections. It is the most widely used non-ferrous metal, second only to aluminum.

Copper ores are classified into three main categories

Sulfide Ore: Rich in sulfides, it is widely extracted due to its high concentration of copper.

Oxidized Ore: Contains oxidations and is processed by hydrometallurgical methods.

Mixed Occurrences: Include a combination of sulfides, oxides, hydroxides and carbonates, with a variety of extraction and processing methods.

Copper Project in Bom Jardim de Goiás

Axía Mineração recently acquired a sulfide copper deposit in Auction number 2/2022 – CPRM (COBRE DE BOM JARDIM DE GOIÁS/GO). Geologically, this deposit is located in the Goiás Magmatic Arc, in Paleoproterozoic volcanic rocks.

After a preliminary technical audit, the deposit is now in the complementary research phase, with the objective of expanding the reserves and carrying out a more detailed characterization. The company is also researching 13 thousand hectares of adjacent areas, aiming to identify other ore bodies. The objective is to consolidate a mining venture in the location, uniting the known reserves and enhancing the available resources.
